About Pettersson Elektronik

Pettersson Elektronik was founded in 1983 by Lars Pettersson, as a spin-off from a research project at the Institute of Technology of Uppsala University, Sweden. The objective of the project was to develop a new type of bat detector, which eventually resulted in Pettersson Elektronik’s first bat detector, the D920.

Pettersson Elektronik has maintained a close contact with the academic world and is located in Uppsala Science Park, close to many of the departments of Uppsala University.

Our products have been developed in close co-operation with leading bat researchers and we are proud to offer products of the highest quality and reliability.
